The hotel's location was very central, near shopping and restaurants. And it was also close enough to shopping centers, Harajuku, Meiji-Jingu, and Yoyogi park and shopping malls and train station.

By and large, it was fabulous base for sightseeing in Tokyo, had much fun and met respectful and best staff at reception desk. The location was very central, near department store and metro station, great food places, great bars, shopping and sights and the Shibuya 109. It also was near shops and restaurants.

The hotel of choice in Tokyo. Extremely convenient place with compact and reasonably sized rooms. Excellent and wonderful location near Shopping mall, easy to get around. For tea or coffee visit Kugatsudo nearby.

Location was perfect but room was a bit pricey considering the circumstances in Japan. Other hotels we stayed at gave us a better price as there were no tourists around because of the earthquake fall out.

The location is great - about 5 minutes walking from Shibuya station (Hachiko exit). There is a 24 hour convenience store just outside the hotel. There are multiple restaurants, shops, coffee shops, and department stores of all kinds within a few minutes walk from the hotel (including Tokyu Hands and Loft). The hotel staff are very kind and helpful and speak good English. The room was very clean, and it was cleaned and arranged every day. We stayed there for total of 9 nights (6 nights and then another 3) and enjoyed a lot. I would definitely come back to this hotel when visiting Tokyo again.

The available massages were super relaxing, but the shower pressure could've been a bit better. It was a wonderful experience and I'd say definitely try to enjoy the nearby dining options 😊

On business trip, location was best, very centralised
No wifi, very very disappointed, cannot stay next time if no wifi, Breakfast was very very bad, we asked for refund for breakfast for next 2 days. Good location, Hotel needs upgradation, as it has very good location, it should be collaborate with Bigger Group and can demand good price.

Welcoming attitude and helpfulness of the staff. Good, clean and accessible accommodation at a reasonable rate.
Presentation of the food on offer in the ground floor restaurant could have been better (after looking we chose not to eat there).

The location is excelent. Very close to Hachiko exit in Shibuya Station. Rooms very clean and confortable.
The hotel staff doesn't speak english very well and the reception manager really is a very unpleasant and ignorant person, don't ask anything to him!!!

It is well maintained, clean and comfortable hotel. As an enthusiastic runner I especially appreciated the proximity to the Yoyogi park - perfect place for jogging at any time during the day & evening. It is 5 minutes faster walk to the Shibuya Station, restaurants and shops are all around (but not any larger grocery supermarket, only small convenience stores). I recommend to try the Japanese hamburgers, they are surprisingly delicious - Japanese fast food shops Freshness Burger and Mos Burger are right next to the hotel. Two minutes walk from the hotel is also very pleasant British Pub HUB (but the beer in Japan is probably the most expensive in the world).
Beware if you are sensitive to cigarette smoke. There was a faint odor of cigarette smoke in the hall, sometimes even in the room. When I complained about this problem, I learned that we are staying on the floor with smoking rooms (which surprised me because when I was making reservation I repeatedly emphasized the fact that I really don´t like smell of cigarette smoke). Then they suggested us to move on the non-smoking floor above. So we moved and everything was fine. Twice for our stay (11 days) I found some bug in the bathroom. I do not know what kind of bug it was, he looked pretty cute so I did not raise it as a problem.

The shibuya tobu is a fantastic hotel within a short walk to the famous shibuya crossing. The room was quite spacious by japanese standards and featured great amenities like a kettle and complimentary coffee. The staff were very polite and helpful. The laundry and vending machines on each floor are a huge plus!
